Apple, Google and others eye Kodak's patents

As part of its bankruptcy proceedings, Kodak is putting 1,100 patents up for auction and the tech world is taking sides in a quest to acquire them. According to a Wall Street Journal Report, Apple is teaming up with Microsoft and patent aggregation firm Intellectual Ventures Management LLC to bid on the patents.
