Samsung's hot new Exynos 4412 quad-core chip seems to be quite a hit with smartphone manufacturers. Lenovo, for example, has just outed the K860 LePhone, which features Samsung's current heavy hitter clocked at 1.4GHz. The K860 also features a supersized 5-inch display with a native resolution of 1280 x 720, and ARM's Mali 400 GPU provides the muscle to pump out 720p visuals.

Jolla's MeeGo Smartphone Likely to Support Android Apps
When start-up company Jolla, which has pledged to revive the MeeGo mobile OS, reveals its first smartphone later this year, it is expected to support Android apps, according to reports. In an interview with Jolla CEO Jussi Hurmola, Finnish website 3T (as translated by ArcticStartup.com) reported that Jolla will avoid the challenge of having to build its own app store by supporting existing ones, like Android, Qt, and HTML5.
