Facebook rolls out the App Center internationally
Facebook's App Center, the social network's answer to Google Play and the iTunes App Store, is finally rolling out to non-English-speaking countries around the world. "Earlier this month we began accepting submissions for translated app detail pages," a Facebook rep wrote in an email to VentureBeat.

Social ROI firm The Echo System released its Echo Rank results for June today, and the results show that online retailers with solid customer engagement strategies online vastly outperform laggards. In fact, the top five companies doubled the revenue growth of the average company in the index.

We've heard rumors which claim a new Android smartphone from Facebook and HTC is on the way, but today Bloomberg is reporting a mid-2013 window for the phone's arrival. Apparently, the original plan was to release the phone sometime before the sun sets on 2012, but with HTC wanting to work on different projects, this new Facebook phone has now been pushed back to mid-2013.

In addition to being the biggest streaming video site in the world, YouTube is also the largest host of videos licensed under creative commons, the site revealed today in a blog post. The Creative Commons licensing allows others to use a piece of media within their own content as long as attribution is given (to a certain degree).
