Project Plans to Bring Public Transit Maps Back to the iPhone

Apple's iOS 6 plans to drop Google Maps when released this fall. Unfortunately, its replacement will not host built-in support for public transit. New York startup OpenPlans wants to create an iOS app to bring back the popular service.
